"Amature Photographer, not a terrorist" t-shirts - 08-01-2005, 08:57 AM

User evil4blue was gracious to allow me to use his idea for a t-shirt I'm now selling on cafepress. Since people have been questioned for photographing public facilities post-9/11, we have to be prepared to declare our intentions. Hence the t-shirt: "Amature Photographer" on the front, "( not a terrorist )" on the back! HA! I mostly made it for myself, but if others are interested, there you go. I do want to be sensitive to those who may object, and I'm not looking to cause any problems, so if this offends, please let me know politely.

http://www.cafepress.com/ohmyhead

If anybody wants a "Professional Photographer" or "(something) Photographer" shirt, let me know, or give me a 2000x2000 @ 200dpi png with the artwork and I'll load it up.

As an aside, I remember hearing or reading somewhere that there is no evidence to suggest that photography or video has ever been used in a terrorist act.

Hey, thanks for the credit, but Brad already ran with the idea. Although, I'll give you credit since you approached me about this idea before he posted his link to his version of the t-shirt.

Since this is your design in your thread, I won't post the link to his shirt. You can guess which thread he posted it in.

Nice catch Abel, I knew something looked off, but I wasn't really paying attention.

My favorite part of brad's set of shirts is the ones stamped "Made in the USA" Seems slightly cynical, and almost fitting of the t-shirt.

I like the red NOT in these new ones... I posted mine as a funny more than anything else, never really expecting anyone to do anything other than chuckle. :)

How about "Armature Photographer"

That'll get you alot of attention, especially around military bases.

How about "American Photographer"

This would include every photographer since some of them are pros shooting for work.

Cute, Abel. Somehow, though, I don't think the police, etc. would find that nearly so funny as I do.
