Maybe no one here is really interested in this, but what the hey! I'm going to post it anyway...

I just found out from my brother in PA (who still has the camera) what my Mother used back in the 40's and 50's to take her pictures.
It was a 'Zeiss Ikoflex'. Anyone ever hear of it?

My Mom with her camera, about 1949, taken by the San Francisco Bay, I believe


Here are a few web sites I found on that camera. The second tells a lot about how to work it. Hers looks a lot like the Ikoflex II(851/16) on the first site.

There's just something special about a TLR. My first TLR was a Ricoh with sliders/levers for focusing. Next was a Yashica Mat. Love TLRs.

My first good camera was a Rolleicord V, in 1955. I, also, had a couple of Rolleiflex cameras when I had a studio. Great cameras.
