I was going to come post about this, but I decided to do a search and see if anyone had posted about it before. Saw this thread and was surprised nobody had posted! I thought this was quite an interesting (albeit sad) tale told through photographs.

thanks folks, I missed hearing about him up until now. I went through about 5 or 6 years worth, it takes a while. But the humor, sadness, the pathos of the human condition - it was wonderful. And this one, one of the early photos, is one of the best photos I've seen in a while, so simple, yet containing all the world.
