Very subtle differences. I think i like 1 better. What did you take it with?

Too subtle for me to see much difference, but I like #1 better. I guess the light at the upper left quadrant is brighter.

Another vote for #1: the highlights just seem to make it jump out at you more.

Number 1 appears to have slightly more contrast highlighting the more of the moon's details.

ok thanks, just trying to get an idea of how far out of wack my monitor calibration is. Seems like images always appear darker to everyone else when they look just right on my monitor.

Minus some minor detaisl #2 looks to me like a much better exposure, and # 1 to me looks to bright

I shot this with my 20D and Sigma 50-500

2 shots combined in Photo impact then processed a little

Shot 1
Shutter speed: 1/100 sec
Aperture: f/9.0
ISO: 100

shot 2
Shutter speed: 1/100 sec
Aperture: f/16.0
ISO: 100
