An idea and how to approach ? - 02-17-2008, 10:19 PM

I have an idea that I haven't ever seen before that would illustrate multi-national cultures from a "different" perspective.* I believe it would be an interesting topic to be covered by a publication similar to Nat'l Geographic that would "time stamp" our current time.* However, I'm afraid that if I approach a Nat'l publication with my idea ... it might get turned down, and then I might see the idea pop up a year or so from now.*

Does anyone have a suggestion how I can approach an organization like Nat'l geographic and not "lose" my idea to somebody else ?**
* Thanks.Randy
