I got an offer with a company on Thursday. I accepted it the same day. This was all done verbal, but I did accept the modified payrate and per diem terms via email. On Friday I found out that the client had revoked the offer. They said (I am assuming the manager I interviewed with)stated they were hoping another manager was going to work with me declined to do that.
I was working part time so, I resigned that position in the morning, then found out the news in the afternoon.
Does anyone know do I have any re-course? I mean I cannot go back to my part time position and I probably just lost my unemployment benefits also.

I would at least contact a labor lawyer.

If you do have some documented proof via e-mail, that's at least something to show a labor lawyer. Verbal agreements usually don't hold much water, unfortunately, and people's word isn't worth what it used to be.

Texas is an at will state. Meaning you can be hired and released without much consequence as long as you are not discriminated against or you have proof of intent to slander or otherwise wrong you. It wouldn't hurt to ask a lawyer, but don't get your hopes up on the legal front.
It still doesn't change the fact that the potential employer is wrong.

Always have the job offer in writing (offer letter) before you give notice at your current job. I waited for nearly a month one time, but I didn't consider the job offer valid until I got the letter from HR. The letter should have all the details, start date, pay rate, anything pertaining to the job, set out and signed by the HR director.
Sorry to hear about your situation, and how they screwed you up with your employer.

Ya, get in contact with a labor lawyer. But like Scott said, texas is an at will state, and they do not require a reason to terminate you. Even if you want to take it to court, in contract law you cannot sue for punitive damages, only compensatory. And that ammount is going to be next to nothing if anything at all. But like i said, talk to a lawyer and they will be able to help you much more then i can (there is a clause/tort that says you can sue for lost wages due to a contract violation, but i am pretty sure that does not apply here)

You don't need a lawyer yet. File for your unemployment benefits. Unless the employer contests the claim, you should qualify. If the employer contests the claim, or you are denied benefits, contact a labor lawyer for further advice.

Thanks guys. But the client company (not the one paying me) is located in New York as is the job. Does that matter? I have a friend that is an attorney I will ask them their opinion.

As others have said, contact a lawyer.
And I am not a lawyer, but my 2 cents:
Since you have a contract (email), and they have since "broken" the contract, you should be eligible for compensation. It won't be alot, but will be some.
As for Unemployment, Texas probably does not apply, since the company & job is in New York, and they agreed to the contract in NY, most lily NY laws would apply. But as a bonus, NY is probably better for employment law for you than Texas (historically a worker friendly state and very unionized).
You might try and get them to do a Contract Pay Out, I'd ask for 6 months pay, but settle for 3.
