Short version... Part of my wife's job is support for a software program the company licenses. One of their customers, a new car dealership, got a new computer person. Part of her new job is keeping the web site updated. Today, she called my wife to introduce herself, as the new replacement. She started asking a bunch of questions about the site. My wife stopped her, and explained that support was billable hours, and that company is very hesitant to spend money on it. My wife said she could tell the girl new little about such things, by the questions she was asking. So, she said, "We offer support for the program, we do not offer computer training. What is your level of computer knowledge? Do you know html?" Her response, and this is the truth, "Well, I did sell a few things on ebay."  --------------------------- While you are reading this, your enemy is training. |
