instead of highjacking the other thread, I decided to start one for all of us to post our favorite candid "drive by" shots.....

1st up, this motorcycle cop wove thru stopped traffic, went thru several quite red lights and other actions that made me think "Hey, something has happened, let's see what it might be..."

Nope, he was late for a jog at the park.....where I also took his pic.

another, where i was surprised to see an HPD uniform in the rear window when this one decided that driving about half a mile on the shoulder of SH249 was ok......

and yes, he saw the flash.

and for the best reason I ever witnessed to keep that camera loaded and ready.....an oldie but worth reposting.

Sorry for the poor quality, the camera wasn't on Auto mode.....

I was driving through Lousiana and lucky for me my camera was sitting on the center console.

18 wheeler lost a load of pipe.

Notice the location of this pipe and the police car?


Now look how far that pipe rolled. Check you side mirror.

Taken in Haiti during the flood that killed 3000 people. Yes, we were also driving in the same amount of water theses cars were in. At times, it was up to the hood of our car. Taken with a point and shoot digital before I knew anything about Photoshop.
