Back in 2005, my boss at the time asked me to research some flash drives... for some reason I took a screen shot for him and I found that screen shot on an old backup hard drive the other day. It's crazy that you can get a 1 GB Kingston Flash drive on Amazon for $2.99. How quickly they've dropped in price...

I still remember paying about the same amount in the mid-90's for a 4MB stick of PC RAM...used!.

Speaking of flash memory, have you seen the prices of the flash hard drives?

And that's just a 128GB

edit: corrected the size (still had MB on the brain, thanks jdwme)

It's $1,000 to go from 80GB regular HD to a 64GB SSD for apple's new laptop, but over 3K for 128GB is ridiculous! Too bad for the early adopters.
