lol Crystal we have gone from 30's one day to literally upper 60's, low 70's the next....you know what they say "if you don't like the weather in OK, just wait a day"...or something like that!

Hey, it's the end of February, winter is supposed to be over. I'm glad spring starts early in TX, if I wanted winter to linger into May, I'd move to Montana.

But Montana sure would be prettier.

I have moved around way to much. NY, WV, SC, GA, TN, KY, MO, MN, AZ, CA, TX (Houston & DFW). I moved from AZ to MN and just about died. It is a very pretty place but you can have that winter scene that lasts 9+ months of the year. Winters with -42 deg and that is not with the chill factor. In perspective, if your freezer is at 32 deg, -42 deg is 70 deg colder than your freezer.... BURR. I can remember June with snow in the shaded areas under the trees.

There is no place like TEXAS!

Agreed, I would love to have a summer home in Montana or Wyoming; but no way would I want to live there year-round. Southern AZ would probably suit me for winter-time.

It's cold again today, though. Just temporarily.

I'm ready for summer: fewer allergies and fewer meteorological surprises. It's just going to be hot all day, every day. Love it!

But summer around here consists of meteorological suprises called tornadoes....and I can't wait! I don't know why I love the stormy weather around here!? It scares the bajeesus outta the rest of my family...one thunder or lightning and my gramma is calling me to come over to her house and get in the cellar

think winter is still trying going to freeze tonight

guess the saying if you don't like the weather in Texas just wait 5 minutes holds true

Chicken! Just talked to my dad in Great Falls-he says Lewistown (in the center of the state) might get 15" of snow tonight (May 1)...
