Wii at Frys (1:30pm 03.01.2008)

I just got back from Frys off of I-45 & West Rd. They had a bunch of Wii bundled packages for $432.99. Not such exactly what was in it but 3-5 games, 2 controllers, recharging station.....

It sucks cause all I want is the console, don't need all that extra crap.

I noticed the Wii in the Circuit City ad for tomorrow. You might want to get there about a hour before they open. That's how we were able to get one for my son last October.

Nope, all I want is the console. My brother-in-law and my buddy have the Wii and they have given me advice on what to buy and what not to buy.

I don't want or need the recharging station since I have a crap load of 2300 mAh rechargeable batteries. The charging station takes 8 hrs to recharge their batteries and my rechargeable only take one hour. You can get up to 54 hours of game play with two of my rechargeable batteries.

Only games I'm interested in right now: Wii Sports (comes with the console), Carnival Games, and Wii Play with Remote.

Wii Play isn't all that worth it IMHO. Also if you're a fan of Soul Caliber, DO NOT bother with Soul Caliber Legends. Huge disappointment and not even worth $50. Resident Evil 4 is TOTALLY worth it however, as is Blazing Angels lots of fun for $20!!

Not true in my experience. They were charged within an hour or so and my grandson plays an hour or more a day, and the batteries are charged in less than an hour. I bought the package at Fry's on Southwest Freeway for $369.95. The next day I took back the wireless receiver, and should have taken back the golf club/bat and tennis racket, but he uses them. Their prices are the same as internet or anyone else. Target in Meyerland had several last week, looks like they are coming in quicker now. Game Stop should also have them.

Might be getting one for my wife as a present (she DOES actually want one, I could care less).

Also need to get Wii Fit when it comes out, as she wants that and the dancing ones.
