Anybody know if it would be a bad idea to take photos at the polls this Tuesday?

I want to go to a few polls in my area and take photos to sort of document what I see and the mood. Thinking to go in the morning with my dad when he votes and then go to a few other areas with some friends or by myself to get some more photos.

I dont know what restrictions they might have or what difficulties I might run into, but I would really love to take some photos on that day.

I'm not sure, but, I believe you'll have to not be on the premises

I do believe that press is not allowed inside the polling places... so I would think that the answer would be no.

I took a camcorder into a church once where there was voting, and they just made me stay in a particular place.
