there is a new movie called "Shutter" and it's suppose to be a scarey movie. during the previews it shows someone taking pictures with scarey images that are caught in the pictures. with that said, have any of you ever captured some odd images that appeared in your photos that were unexplained?

once in South Africa (back in the film days) a friend of mine took a photograph on a beach near Jeffries Bay. When we got the film back from the lab a few days later. There was a picture of a sunny beach, sand, waves, and a family playing in the water, nothing extraordinary. Only when we posted this picture on the wall of the place we were staying in did someone point out the "man in a grey suit" (great white) fin sticking out of the water and lurking about ten metres from the family.

maybe not unexplained but certainly not seen at the time of capture.

Sounds like a Japanese movie I watched a few years ago. Something like Fatal Frame. After the ring, america has been redoing a lot of these asian based movies. Like the new one with Jessica Alba....

I'd like to tell you that any time I take something out of focus it's the work of ghouls living in my camera. But no, it's just me.

BR is just craziness. I know my hubby has Ichi as well, but I haven't watched it. I walked in on a disgusting scene and that was it for me, lol.

I guess there's a lot of movies that could be made about the old idea that when somebody takes your picture they capture your soul. Consider that the next time you open Photoshop.

I took a few pics years ago at a wake for a friend. And when I got them developed, one of the pics had our friend sitting on the couch with us.

Got to us pretty good that night until we figured out it was a double exposure from the party we'd had at John's house before he died.

At least that's the story we're sticking to???

There was this one time that I was looking at a picture and said "WOW! I can't believe it turned out that good!!" Had to be the work of some "outside forces"!
