So, I got my lens back from Tamron... - 03-07-2008, 01:58 PM


today, and noticed a nice black spec of something on one of the internal pieces of glass. I'm at work now so I have no idea if it will show up on any pictures. But just the fact that I know it's there is gonna annoy me real bad. So, send it back? I got the lens 12/14/07 and sent it to Tamron on 1/28/08 and got it back today 3/07/08.. UGH!

Nice. Tamron is sending me out a prepaid shipping label to send back to them..

Take a few shots with it first, you probably won't even see it. That's why there's dust deletion.

Wow....sorry to hear that. I just got my lens back from Sigma and the whole process, including the shipping days, took only a week. I hope you get it all settled.
