A Lesson in Planning - 03-12-2008, 01:07 AM

These men are installing and setting solid steel pillars in concrete to stop vehicles from parking on the pavement outside a sports bar in downtown Norman, OK.

They are cleaning up at the end of the day.

.......
.......
.......

How long do you think it will be before they realize where their vehicle is parked?

my eye usually measures correct...but as i can tell they can fit their van in between two of the poles at the bottom of the photograph.
course I could be wrong.

It's always a classic shot, for sure. It's in the UK though, you can tell by the street signs.

What Snopes has to say about it.

You forgot to show the crane that'll lift the truck out of it's hole. Man, this image is so aptly titled. It's hilarious!

Ahhhh Haaaa ... IC ... without that knowledge the picture makes them look, ah, not to bright, but they knew what they were doing. Great lesson in how an image can me misinterpreted.
