haha, and not just any job, but the one she wanted - she'll start july 28th, in seattle at the same hospital her husband to be will be working at - and she'll be a critical care nurse!! woohoo!! (and more importantly - they pay for her moving - haha). just sharing the excitment...thanks for looking! janetg |

My sister is a Respiratory Therapist at Cooks Children in Fort Worth. That kind of job line is ridiculously tough and stressful and it's not for everyone. I have massive amounts of respect for those who can handle that in a professional way. Janet, that's great news. My daughter is an ER nurse supervisor at Memorial Hermann, and I don't know how nurses can do what they do. |

it gets better as the details unfold too - she only has to work 3 12 hour shifts a week! man, to be young, a good job - great pay - in a new city - new husband - ..... heavy sigh... |

Congrats to her Janet! You do know that those 3 12 hour shifts are actually going to be ranging from 12-15hours?! lol I have a couple friends who are CCU nurses and hear all the time about how after their "shift" ends they still have to do charts... of course those are the more busy days. It is a tough line of work so I think highly of those who do it. --------------------------- "If you find a job you love, you'll never have to work a day in your life." |
