I am getting soooo annoyed with my friends "Rockets this, Rockets that"

I keep on telling them enjoy it now, because you are exiting Round 1 in the Playoffs again.

I'm no Rockets fan and I've only seen one game this year but you gotta support your home town team! 22 straight wins in ANY league is a great accomplishment. So what if some of the teams the Rockets beat during the streak are missing their superstar player(s). Let's not forget the Rockets did lose Yao Ming 10 games ago. Back then all the "haters", news papers, and sports writers pretty much guaranteed the Rockets would even qualify for the playoffs. What the hell do they know?

I'm born and raised a Houstonian and a die hard Astros fan. It's a sad fact Houston has no team loyalty. We have the most fair-weather fans in all of sports. We'll jump on the bandwagon and ride it to victory, but the minute there is trouble...ABANDON SHIP! In 2005 this was most evident during the Astros World Series run and in 1994-1995 Rockets World Championship. After winning one championship the Rockets limped into the playoff as the 6th seed and were expected to get blown away by the Utah Jazz. You know the rest of that story. After a terrible start to the 2005 season the Astros were written off as dead in the Central Division. They were able to win the Wild Card and beat two of their nemesis to advance to the World Series. This one pissed me off the most cause I had to hear it from everybody how much the Astros sucked! Then wouldn't you know the same jerk offs were out there buying apparel, tickets, and all of a sudden cheering of "our" team when "we" were going to the World Series.

They are playing good team basketball that is fun to watch. Even though they are not as good, they are more fun to watch now than the inside-out championship teams. They play as a team, and you don't know who is going to step up each night.

Maybe they will go out in the first round. In the West year, any of the top eight teams could go down in the first round. And any one of them also has a chance to go to the finals.

The winning streak, however, is not simply a fluke. They are not only winning, but they have routinely obliterated their opponents. If fans aren't entitled to enjoy this remarkable run, then there is absolutely no point in watching the regular season -- a point that the Mavs may have proved last year as well.
