I remember seeing some of those when HBO did a special on him a few years back. Kinda amazing what they could do without Photoshop

My father was his maintance crew chief toward the end of WWII and then in Glendale, AZ until Goldwater retired. I have an image of my dad working on a P-51 that was taken by Mr. Goldwater and given to my dad while they were both stationed in Arizona. First time I have really seen his work other than that image. It is amazing.
