Pet Names

We always see all the adorable new puppies and kitties that our members get... and occassionally there are requests for help with names...

I came across this tonight and had fun having it generate some names. you can pick cat or dog and male or female and then a selection of 'criteria' that you can use to narrow the selection... They also have a cute selection of names for multiple animals... My Simon and Dexter wern't listed as a suggested pair.. but my feelings aren't hurt... lol

This was really cute!!! All of our pets have *entertainment* names. Our cat is Cyan Fitzgerald Nix (named after a little girl in the Spawn comic book) Our Border Collie is River Bonsi Nix (River, for the psyco girl in the Firefly series and movie, and Bonsi, cuz I killed my Dads Bonsi tree LOL) and our newest edition, a chihuahua named Pixel Junk Nix (for two reasons, the first, photography of course, but Pixel Junk is a video game company) My In-Laws get a huge kick out of our pet names!

lol - ours have middle names too....

Our 13lb chihuahua-mix is Simon Paco Ledsome (paco is cause he's a little horn dog that tries to hump everything in site..lol)

Our 30lb aussie/lab?? mix is Dexter Austin Ledsome (austin is because when he 'relieves' himself he goes on forever.. like austin powers..)

Hahahahahaha, well when my chihuahua found me, my hubby and I had been watching Jeff Dunham on Comedy Central. He has a puppet named Jose Jalepeno on a Stick. We SO thought about naming him that, but we didn't think our Hispanic neighbors next door would appreciate me yelling "JOSE JALEPENO" out the back door!

When Jenny and I were dating we always watched the Iron Chef......so our 3 dogs are named after our favorite chefs.

Gustaf Sakai (Named after the fat rat in Cinderella) our Maltese
Lola Kenichi our English Mastiff
Simon Morimoto our Neapolitan Mastiff

pug#1 - krumpet marie (krumpets are english pancakes, and marie was my daughter's teddy bear)
pug#2 - teah kitty - (tea to drink with your krumpet - and kitty because she's slinky like a cat)
mutt - gracie lou - she's ugly when fluffed, pretty when groomed, adopted, and reminded me of the movie

Meet Bonnie & Clyde. Bonnie is the Black one and Clyde is the Flame Point Siamese. Of course it is the
male that controls the TV remote! (I think he is trying to tell me that the flash is bothering his sleep)
I get this "go away" look from them quite a lot.

Mine's not in there. :o( We went to the pound to get a German shepard - aka big dog - and left in love with a docile little terrier mut. We came to terms with that was OUR new dog in about 10 mins. We were there at closing and since they closed Mike called back and said we'd be by for her in the morning. Mike heard the girl drop the phone and start yelling WAIT WAIT! Apparently she was on the long walk. Her name was Cracker. She's kind of nuts. We added the 's' so we didnt sound like we were yelling racial slurs when scolding the dog. She was too old to rename. And shes not as laid back as we thought. Turns out she LOVES to run. Run run run. I guess time in the slammer sucks the life out of you. We went in looking for the 1/2 dead dog on Funny Farm and ended up with a crazy little bird dog. lol.
