where you just feel like you want to HANG up your camera strap and call it quits??

life and BUSINESS lesson learned!!!

NO FAVORS for friends..... PERIOD! I know you are all sitting there thinking DUH!!! but I can't help myself... i have been BURNED TWICE... once on a wedding for a FRIEND and that SCARED me enough now that I DONT want to do weddings any more... but I have a 2nd shooter opp that I plan on taking in May... but still not sure I want to do it again... and the SAME dog gone friend (so called friend) did it to me AGAIN.. . I know I know I should have learned the first time...

haha I guess the only one I really have to be upset with is me for allowing myself to do it again... and with the same person...

so my point is... do you just have one of those days??? and what do you do to change it? I really dont want to give up... but grrr frustration is getting the better of me!

Fortunately, I don't have that types of experience in shooting weddings since I love to shoot too much, but I do have similar experience at work just last Monday when I just wanted to call it quit and walk out of there. People can be such a-hole, for lack of a better word, some time, especially marketing & sales people. No offense to the good ones out there.

I took a walk, sucked it up & went on. I believe in karma, and what goes around comes around as I've seen it a lot. Plus I work in the tech industry so I'm sure I'll get my chance when they need me again

On Days like that i just try to remember that I made the choice, now I can choose how to deal with it. I made a choice to be good, I choose to know that what I did was good even if the reaction was not and then someone made the choice to be a butthole. I choose to not let someone elses attitude change mine. Sometimes it works but the more you choose not to let them effect you, the easier it becomes.

I read this:
ATTITUDE

The longer I live, the more I realize the
impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me,
is more important than fact. Its is more
important than the past, than education,
than money, than circumstances, than
failures, than successes, than what other
people think or say or do. It is more
important than appearance, giftedness
or skill. It will make or break a company,
a church, a home. The remarkable thing is
we have a choice every day regarding the
attitude we will embrace for that day.
We cannot change the inevitable.
The only thing we can do is play on
the one string we have, and that is our
attitude. I am convinced that life
is 10% what happens to me and
90% how I react to it. And so it is with
you and me to be in charge of our attitude

Well said Janice. I like the shorter version:

"It is attitude, not aptitude, that will determine your altitude."
