Bluebonnet By Laws- Texas - 04-01-2008, 09:00 AM

Man, they will regulated any and everything now! Did you catch the news feed on the Texas Electronic Transfer State Bluebonnet Wildflower act RE: Article #8675309 ? It states somewhere on the lines that it's a prohibited act to upload and transfer digital files of the Texas State Wildflower Bluebonnets! A transfer permit must be obtained before you can transmit digital files out of state. Good Lord, I thought I heard it all before but this is totaly out of control. Just another way to pad the pockets of the rich!

I don't see how the State can claim it owns the rights to something that grows in the wild. Me thinks there's something stinky in Austin.

Especially since the Bluebonnet doesn't grow exclusively in Texas.

Of course, a lot of strange laws get passed on April 1st.....

This is outrageous. The TETSBWA #8675309 was not supposed to go into effect this year !! Now what are we going to do when we get those great BB shots ?? I've heard that professional labs are not accepting BB images because of this. How far do the lawmakers in Austin think they can push us photographers. I'm so mad I feel like driving down to Austin and making a scene.

Edit: I'm starting a list of those who want to go to Austin and protest this ACT.
