Can anyone spell ... - 04-01-2008, 10:16 PM

I photographed a high-profile social event recently where I had to take photos and write down everyone's name photographed.

When I photographed a middle-aged couple and approached them for their names, the gentleman gave me his, but then refused to give the lady's name and walked away with his mistress.

Can anyone spell c-h-e-a-t-e-r ??? :-)

Well, had he named her, could you still call him a gentleman?

OTOH, reminds me of when I used to photograph high school proms. The couples would step up to pay and sign their names. I can't tell you how many times either one would write his/her name, then look at the other and say, "What's your last name?"

That used to happen to me all the time when I took a girl to the dance, except I would say, "What is your first name?"

So the guy wouldn't tell you his date's name, but would allow photographic evidence to be taken? Sounds like a mix-up in priorities.

Do guys really take mistresses to high-profile social events? Seems like they'd want to take their wives/trophy wives instead. Maybe she was in the Witness Protection Program.

Or, as you assume, he's in the Weasel Protection Program.
