Well guys - 04-03-2008, 10:37 PM

the movers come tomorrow.
And they pull away on Monday.
We will be heading out more than likely Wed.
We will stop home for a few days and then we are off to Deleware to catch a military flight over to England. ANd then we will hop a flight up to Scotland. I am getting so excited and ready to get out of here. The kids haven't stopped talking since they now know we have less than 7 days left. lol

So unfortunately our trip to Big Bend has been put off, but who can pass up Scotland?

Anyway any tips?

And it has been a pleasure. I may not be able to get back on after this weeken until sometime in May. Hope you all have a great year, and I will see ya'll sometime, as I am sure we will be back through here.

Good luck with everything. Please let us know how it all went when you're back, moved in and reasonably sane.

Good luck! I was stationed at RAF Edzell and lived just outside Laurencekirk from Jan 1980 to July 1985. Part of my heart is still over there! You might get a chance to go over to Aberdeen on the northeast coast and look up this photographer:

great skydiving, great climbing. Do the Llanberis pass - and Cullin ridge on Skye and eat deep fried Mars Bars. Some great beaches too, empty and cold. I hope you have put in plenty of training lifting pints of beer, because those guys really know how to drink (and thats coming from a Welshman).

...wait a while to change your money over because at the moment the exchange rate is not so good.

Breezy:

I was stationed at RAF Edzel, Jun 81-Jul 84. We loved it. Wasn't thriled about the food but the people were wonderful and the countryside is absolutely terrific. It rained every Sunday we were there.

It's a great opportunity for some travel pics and portraits around some of the old castles.

You've got a wonderful oportunity. Enjoy.

Lucian
