Ever get that funny feeling

that you should not take a certain client after talking to them in person or on the phone. I have always gotten that funny feeling and always said I am going to listen to the feeling after that feeling was proven right time and time again.. Well for the past 15 years or so I never listen an was proven that the feeling knew to pass.

Today was the first day I finally passed on a job due to that funny little feeling that this client was going to hard to work with and just not worth the time and trouble.

Can you provided details of what it was that was making you edgy about taking them on? I know I can point to specific things that I notice when I think someone isn't going to work out (i.e. lack of communication, lack of providing details, tends to complain about others and asks questions that you have already answered, etc...). Some folks are genuinely nervous/hesitant, but you answer their questions and they are good. I find that if people are not communicating, they are not going to hold up and will probably be difficult. This is why I always get 100% paid before delivering a product/shooting since if they are going to be a hassle, they most like will get turned off by this 100% prepay policy I have.
