You need to call your dentist. Sorry you are having trouble. A week after I had mine cut out, I was eating steak and corn on the cob in deer camp.

my wife is in last year of dental school..
Her questions are ...
do you smoke?
Did you drink thru a straw?

If so, you might have a dry socket....

Call your dentist..

Make sure you keep the pits clean. After I had mine out (all 4) I had some tremendous pain because I wasn't properly cleaning food debris out of the holes. Much hope to you that the pain fades quickly.

yup - sounds like a dry socket... I got one of those and it sucked!

I went in and they reopened the 'hole' and stuffed gauze soaked in clove oil in it for a couple of days and then let it re-heal.

the clove oil was kinda cool.. everything tasted like x-mas ham for a week.. lol

ice pack 30 mins on 30 off may help with the pain some if you havent already been doing it as the swelling can sometimes make the pain worse, also sometimes warm sea salt water can make it feel better just two things I remember from having my 3 removed a few years ago myself.

What pain killers are you using?

I had all 4 of mine removed at once a few years ago by an oral surgeon.. I bled and bled for a week...pain for several weeks...

Hydrocodone seemed to help a lot... :)

Hope you feel better soon.
