My daughter wants to download a video for a class project and put it on power point...Is that even possible?? How would an adult go about doing this??? Especially one that is not so knowledgable about these things!!!!!!!!

FYI, I looked at it and it is photos and from what I can tell so far, the photos are "public" ???? photos???

Here you go, Renae. It's takes a little explaining, but this does a good job of that:

http://answers.yahoo.com/question/in...2120831AAArW1A

Also, if you use FireFox, you can use this extension and it allows you to download the Flash videos (.flv files) too:

http://javimoya.com/blog/youtube_en.php

After you get the .flv file, you need a converter to convert it to a .wmv or .mpeg or something that will work with "regular" media players. There is at least one free one mentioned in the first link I posted.

Hope that helps!

I have Firefox and use the Fast Video Download add-on. Then, once the .flv is saved, I go to http://media-convert.com/convert/ and convert it into QuickTime. The web site allows you to convert to any number of formats. I have saved and converted many vids from YouTube that way. The add-on also works with other sites as well, but not sure which ones off the top of my head.
