Focus Question - 04-11-2008, 11:19 PM

Ok, I know this might be a dumb question but I find myself in this situation where I start guessing what I should do. When you are photographing and you have your lens wide open say 2.8, do you try to focus directly on the persons eyeball or do you focus a little closer like on the nose. I ask this expecially in situations like when you are shooting event photos in a darker situation and there is a lot of action. But I guess the same applies for ports and such. Anyways, where do you focus?

I always focus on the eyes unless the faces is turned away from the camera in which case I would focus on the edge of the nose between the two eyes.
