Freezing our butts off but we made it on Friday evening. Had a few bumps but nothing major.
We had issues in Corpus getting our tag for our trailer as they had told us when we moved down not to switch it to TX unless we were going to drive it. So we didn't. When in in March and renewed our van. At that time we asked if they had temps that we could get to get it to VA since that is where it is titled etc... So they proceeded to tell us about a 7 and 15 day one I believe etc.... We told them it would be loaded and taken to VA etc... Apparently they didn't listed to that part lol.
So we went on Tues. to get the temp title, and were then told it had to be cash

that was never mentioned and we don't carry cash. So I finally got a check cashed for $25 to find out that we couldn't do the 7 day temp tag etc..... That it couldn't be loaded nor taken out of state. Needless to say we were there for about 4 hours before we were finally able to get a 72 hour tag that was not guaranteed to work out of the state

. Had it to start at Noon on Wed. Well I was running around to get medical records etc... (still weren't done by the way lol) to notice a nail in the tire

so by the time we got the POVs weighed and the tire plugged it was 3pm when we finally hit the road.
We got to Winnie and it was starting to get dark, dh had me pull over cause the running lights weren't working but we had breaks and turn signals. He decides to "fix" them

then we had nothing, by this time it was dark. He followed me closely and we headed for Beaumont. Unforunately no rooms any where.

On a wed night lol. So we drove on to Sulphur. DH spent hours looking for a fuse that he was POSITIVE it was. Couldn't find a blown one any where etc...
Called the dealership in Lake Charles Thursday morning, they weren't one any more lol. So we headed to Layfayette, got to the dealership they looked at us like we were

They referred us to someone else and so on etc... we finally found a comp to help us out. They finally found the fuse (beside of the battery in a little compartment by itself). I have learned to now know about everything when you have a dealership or anyone for that matter do something to your POV as we had them install the hitch etc...
Thankfully that was the worst of it once we got it fixed we were on our way and made it in about 6 Friday night.
The crappy part was we only got 150 miles to a tank of gas

I do not want to see the CC bill lol.
But luckily no accidents, no tickets etc... so we are all good.
Hope everyone else is doing well.
We are heading to Dover on Thursday to catch a flight over to England for our Scotland trip. So I will check back then lol.
