Firefox: Is there a way to block... - 04-17-2008, 03:45 PM

I am using Firefox. I know there is a way to block all graphics from being displayed when visiting certain websites but is there a way to block certain images?

Let's say I want to block http://www.domain.com/acertainimage.gif from being displayed but I want everything else at domain.com to show up.

Try the plugin AdBlockPlus.

You'll have to construct a custom filter, but I do believe it will do the trick.

You can use the adblock plus extension. It allows you to specify individual sites with wildcards, or a single element to block.

I just put a full version of firefox on my thumb drive granted it's an older build but still. It sure is great to be able to do what I want when and where I want. As long as the usb port is on I am good to go.
