Time Magazine used one of the most famous photographs of all time in what I would consider a disgraceful use of photoshop (and sloppy at best). Here is the cover... While I don't have a problem with creating a photo illustration in general, there is something about using THIS particular photo in the context that kinda strikes me as... wrong. --------------------------- Well... it's time to get back in the game. __________________________________________ A photograph is usually looked at – seldom looked into." -Ansel Adams I don't so much mind that newspapers are dying -- it's watching them commit suicide that pisses me off. – Molly Ivins NEW Website...Sportsshooter. |

Unsettling is an understatement. As a Marine, I'm actually pretty pissed and am off to write a letter to the editor. Maybe that is the whole idea, you think? To make people stop and think about our world and enviroment around us by association. That's what happens when Getty (pick your favorite photo agency) owns the rights and not the photographer or his estate. The worst thing is it's trite.
