Skype Anyone

I have used skype for a very long time but never for a conference or group voice chat.

Anyone know if it works good for holding voice conferences?

If everyone has good hardware and a fast connection, it does okay. We use it with 3-4 connections on a regular basis to talk to my hubby in Iraq. His connection is usually the limiting factor. The quality is not as good as it is when it's just the two of us.

Ahh well i knew the iraq quality was buggy tried talking to my brother using it.

So when i talk to my brother in iraq and brother who is in vietnam I use a program called ventrilo.

But ya one country to another ive noticed skype isn't the best option lol

We use it for conference calls quite frequently, usually 3 or 4 people, without problems.

Heck I usually even do it wirelessly on my home network, and use the built in mike & speakers on my laptop.
Have yet to have a serious issue.

I've used it while gaming while ventrillo or team speak were down while my guild buddies and I actually sometimes prefer it over vent or ts. the most I've had on there was about 6 people.
