Just wondering (right forum topics I hope),
What (if anything) do you ALWAYS have with you?
That is, a dSLR is not small/light by any means but you never know when a great shot/opportunity can/will arise. So, if you don't take your "main" camera with you, what if anything do you take (i.e. just going to the store, getting gas, running general errands, travelling to and from work etc.).
I always have my Canon G9 with me for such times.
Just curious to what everyone else does/dos'nt do.

G9 mostly when I don't feel like taking one of the big guns.

A Canon A700is I got before the G9s came out. It does a great job, though. Took hundreds of very nice pics in Victoria, BC with it recently. Butchart Gardens were spectacular, and my A700 did them justice.

I don't always have a camera with me, but on vacation when I'm just toting one I actually carry my Rebel XTi. Even with the battery grip, it's surprisingly lightweight and small compared to my full-sized camera. Usually just have a 50 f/1.8 on it and hope I don't need a wider angle.

I tote my 20D everywhere with my 50mm and my new(to me) Sigma 105 macro, a couple step-up rings and a single polarizer. My P&S (RIP) died last fall and I have yet to replace it. Drives my wife crazy.
