After over 415 days in Iraq, I'm finally back in the US for good. I landed Saturday at around 2pm, and promptly grilled up a nice steak (and washed it down with some Shiner Bock.) It's good to be back. In the next few days I'll be going through my equipment and making sure it all works properly - then I'll get busy taking photos.

Welcome home and thanks for your service to our country. I guess this summer won't seem as hot as usual after being in Iraq.

Thanks folks, I'm not quite back in Texas yet - but at least Georgia's got the good sense to carry Shiner! I will be home probably 3 weekends in May, before I clear out of the Army in June and move to the Austin area to prep for my return to civilian life/college.
