HP Dragon - 05-03-2008, 12:50 AM

What do you guys think of this? Its a little big to be taking on location, and I thought she broke it when she first opened it...

I think the HD-DVD ROM has been replaced by a Blu Ray ROM.

Saw one a couple weeks ago, AWESOME is the word for it. And yes, it's BIG. Would be a great desktop replacement. when needed, just fold it up and off you go. I wonder if it needs it's own ticket when I fly?

Pretty awesome, but I'm sure lugging around 15lbs plus your other crap would get old quick... but yea, would serve well as a desktop replacement.

ugh...I have a heavy laptop now, not to keen on carrying around an even bigger one. The only thing I like (at first glance) was the hinge (but that is mostly from an ergonomic point of view). Cool find, and thanks for sharing. A HP definitely picked a cool name, dragon...maybe I'll call my first child dragon........

That's not exactly portable. I have a desktop pc that weighs less than 15 pounds.

The HP one comes with a built in handle.

I can see these being used in a business setting within a company, but not as we think of our conventional laptops today.

Work all week at the office and then fold up your computer and take it home for the weekend? Do they come with the 'ball and chain' or does the company provide those ?
