I have it on bluray. It really is quite amazing. I find my mouth open in awe while watching almost through the entire thing. They chose perfect times of day and year to take some spectacular videos. That, along with spectacular audio and perfect lighting make for an awesome series.

Even on plain old DVD the pictures look good. My DVD player upgrades the signal to my LCD. Highly recommended.

I purchased the Blu-Ray version not long asfter it came out.... but don't have a blu-ray player yet.

I just wasn't going to miss the chance to get it... watched all of them on HD at my parents house and was just blown away. It's the kind of shows that your children need to watch now and for years to come.
