I've mentioned this before, but every favor I have ever done when photography is involved has gone sour pretty fast. Only 1 person has ever behaved herself and never pushed the line. I think their respect for you has a lot to do with that. Family and friends tend to see us with piggy tails or doing stupid stuff we did when we were younger, rather than a serious pro. My parents still think my photography is a hobby. You handled this really well.

It's been my experience (not in photography, but elsewhere) that some people will bitch just to see how far you'll bend over for them. If they get one thing free or at a reduced cost because of it, they just take it further to see what else they can get. But if you hold your ground, they'll back off when they realize you aren't caving.

My 'edit photos' says no; but because there is no "sometimes" option.

Stick to your guns and forget about this incident, remember it's all about building experience and knowledge for your business. God Bless

I think that you did a fine job at handling the situation. You may offer to reschedule a shoot or provide a refund. No one should ever expect both.

Ignore the complaint. Create a mail filter to delete further email communications and you will be far happier. -G
