here's my strange photo request - what's yours?

So I get a text today from a number not saved in my phone and I assumed it was in response to some advertising I started yesterday. We shoot back & forth for a while and I'm tryin to get a feel for what this guy wants. Eventually he comes out and says he wants to do nude photos. Woah, I can't touch that one.

I know business is business and money is money, but dayum I can't do that one. I'm sure I'm not the only one here who's gotten a strange request. Trust me, there's ones that i've been happy to get, but this one definitely takes the cake in the opposite department.

I get nude requests all the time both male and female, and unless its someone I have worked with for awhile I usually dont touch it just not my style.................Now I do the handbra's alot lol

Personally I do not see the problem in the photographic art itself. Finding studio space may be an entirely different problem. My suggestion would alway stay in your comfort zone.

As a favor to a friend, I am completely an amateur, I granted one such request. I provided a CD of the images and told him that I was not keeping any copies; that I would not print nor have printed any copies. These were a gift for his wife. Boy, what did she ever do to him?! :)

I rather enjoyed the session. I do not do people portraits very often so this was a learning experience for me. I think that I might like to do more in the realm of implied nudity.

Nothing is too weird of a request, as long as it is still photography related. I joke that I'll shoot anything legal in the State of Texas... but its really not a joke. If the money is green and the subject is legal.. I'll shoot it.

Tell him about your wonderful PhotoShop skills----assure him that you can shoot him dressed and he will look better than reality when you get through. However, if the money is right, then nude it is. Heck, I would do his nude photoshoot while I was in nothing but a thong if the money was right!!!!!

I got a request for a nude couple session. I was in the car with my 15y.o. and her boyfriend. I asked the guy, when he started, hesitantly describing what he was looking for, "by positions, do you mean camera positions or sexual positions"? Apparently, he meant sexual positions. I think he wanted me to photograph them Kama Sutra style. I politely declined. My daughter's boyfriend was like, "do you always get those kind of requests"? LOL And, he didn't even sound like a weirdo. It was just some guy that got married the year b4 and wanted some with him and his wife.

I never had a weird request YET my sister did sort of mention once she wanted pics like the next door girls from E a specific pose.. not completely nude just teh top but still I don't think I could do it even more being my sister.. it is for her hubby but than again I rather do it than anyone else seeing my sister lmao

Well, I get nude requests all the time and dont have an issue with them. I figure anyone that wantes so see me nude deserves what ever they get :)

There's a comedian I listen to quite a bit that has a set where he talks about going to a water park. The comedian is rather large. And at one point he's talking about being ejected from the park by gaining too much momentum on a ride. He talks about the gatekeeper asking him to pay again on entry. He tells the guy he was just inside, and
wants to go back in. "I'm in a speedo, do you see any wallet?" to which the gatekeeper
replies with a disgusted look on his face "I don't even see a speedo"

I always laugh at that one, and remember why I don't wear speedos. <G>

since I am a military wife and I know a lot of military wives/girl friends I get a lot of requests to do nudes or partial nudes to send overseas. I'll gladly do them as long as everyone is comfortable. But I prefer to do them at the persons house. That way when the pics are received it isnt my bedroom in the shot lol.
