I think that freedom of the press should be a two way privilege. While the press should be unrestricted in it's right to inform the public, there is a concurrent obligation for the press to do so in an accurate and unbiased manner. When the media fails to live up to it's obligation, it shouldn't be protected in any way. Unfortunately, biased reporting seems to be the rule nowadays, so I'm looking for something that would motivate the press to live up to the image of itself that it would like for everyone to believe is true.

Accurate and unbiased press? Well it's a nice dream.
