Welcome Lisa...it's one of those things...it's easy IF you know how!!! Below the box that you type your message in, click on "go advanced" once it changes pages, you will see your message again, and below that you click on "manage attachments" and you can browse your computer and get your photos. But they have to be small enough first. You have to resize them yourself...usually if you make the biggest size 800 pixels it should post easily. Good luck and post again if you have issues...

Well, I've tried over and over. It says it has been uploaded successfully, but there is nothing there. I have Vista, could that be it? And it takes along time to try to upload. HELP Please!

Sorry I know nothing about Vista. after you hit upload, does it show below the "browse" boxes and go to the "upload file from URL" box? If it is too big or doesn't work right, it shows up at the top ....maybe someone else knows something about vista??

I've tried a few ways but nothing. I only got my avatar up so far. I'll have to play with it awhile.

What size files are you trying to upload Lisa? There's a limit to the size even though it is very liberal. Vista doesn't have anything to do with it.

it's not a Vista thing at all

the forum has a size limit on both dimensions and file size. You need to make sure you're under that.

I would say if you avatar is loading, then it is a size thing...read it carefully...whenever mine doesn't immediately pop up and say everything is ok, it means the file is too big. And the reason I say read carefully, is because someone I know (no names will be mentioned as to not incriminate myself) tried to crop a photo on CS3 and it kept giving me an error. Bought some memory thinking that was the problem...come to find out, I was trying to crop 600 x 800 inches not pixels....WHOOPSS!!

One more thing to note. After you "attach" your photo that is sized correctly, and it shows up in the "manage attachments" box, it will NOT show up if you try the "preview post" button. You just have to trust that if it's there in the manage attachments section, it will show up in your final post. That confused me at first when I was attaching photos. I kept thinking it wasn't there cuz it wasn't in the preview. I finally just submitted the post, and there it was.
