I did not see these posted but here's what I've seen this week:

Yesterday TPF was the site of the day on fox morning news!!!

I saw Abel's shot at minute maid park in the HCN (Houston Community Newspaper) 101 things to do issue while i was at Jiffy Lube yesterday!!!

Mike Fulton was interviewed in the current issue of Studio Photographer!!!

Way to go guys....anyone else got catch a glimpse of our folks in print/press...

Let me flip to the "just arrested" part of the paper and see what I can come up with!

Thanks for the info Donnie...

Fox contacted me and mentioned they selected as their site for the day:
http://www.myfoxhouston.com/myfox/pa...d=1.1.1&sflg=1

I was very pleased indeed...

Also, I got the Minute Maid shot while on assignment for HCN in Sept '06. HCN contacted me about a month ago asking for the image again so that they could submit it to the main 101 Group to see if it would make the cut. Well it was approved and got ran in the 101 Issue. I picked up a couple from my local HCN Office last friday. It's nice to see it printed in color. I think the one other time it ran in the paper it was B&W..

Thanks for mentioning it indeed!

Props to Mike as well.. I saw the article last night myself..

Okay, so this isn't news, but I had picked up a book from Half Priced Books the other day called Professional Secrets of Wedding Photography by Douglas Allen Box. Well, I opened it up today and when I got to page 19, there just happened to be an anecdote about our own Don Barnes and a little coin trick the author learned from Don on how to get children to relax during the picture taking.

cool!...I changed the title because it's not limited to just news...I think it's encouraging to see what others are doing, especially our fellow tpf members.

Hey Donnie I just saw this thread, I know I am late but I wanted to say thank you for noticing!

Check out Aug. Month of Rangefinder also for another article on us also, we are shocked and honored to be in such amazing magazines almost monthly these days. Truly it is something we are not used too and something we respect greatly.

So thank you again for noticing!
