Ewwwwww. I love Matagorda beach, but wouldn't want to stumble across those guys. I just saw those same photos on another forum. My uncle rode out Hurricane Carla on his 28' boat which he anchored up the Colorado River at matagorda. After the storm, he said the levee was solid with rattlers, and people were killing them with hoes and shovels. |

There's really no telling where the original photos came from. Heard on the radio yesterday that another version of the email indicates this was in Wyoming (IIRC). Two things come to mind. Thank goodness for zoom lenses. And you can still zoom with your feet -- zoom out that is. Wouldn't you hate to see that and have only a 10-22mm with you? |
