Memorial Weekend

What is everyone doing this weekend?

As a side question, I am trying to find something to do this weekend that is near water, away from SA/Austin, and would not be super crowded. I know I am probably dreaming, any one have any suggestions.

this sat I am riding with the patriot guard for a memorial and I am helping the hubs build a shed. then we will be bbqing and monday is another thing with the patriot guard.

actually going out of town to Dallas

we're visiting some friends and probably hitting up the aquarium and maybe the zoo or Dealy Plaza or a museum or something

I know what you mean. I usually work all of the weekends and major holidays. But it's like I always say....I'd rather be working on Christmas, than unemployed on Christmas.

Oddly enough, I'm off this weekend, though. I'm on vacation. So it's over to a friends house for BBQ.

oh yeah, I forgot to mention...my husband just came home today from a month in Ft Polk so there might be some slight readings on the richter scale

Photography is my job so for a holiday what do I do ? I'm going to Scarborough Faire and take some pictures. But the holiday part comes when I know that I am the client and that if they suck no one will say a word because no one will ever see them.

I'm going down on Sunday. I'm starting to slather up with suntan lotion allready.
I'll take one DSLR with a walk around lens. One extra battery, and one extra Cf card.
I'm ready to buy food and drink and take pictures of wenches. It's their last weekend and I expect it to be a bit rowdy. Did I mention taking pictures of wenches ?

Got that big Gaylord wedding Sat am until 4-5 pm, if I feel up to it maybe I will catch up with you out there on Sun ? I have been wanting to get out there for the last 9 years, lol..
