LOL how did I know what it would look like!!! We had one similar to this in our back yard. We didn't plant it, so we thought it was a watermelon.....until it turned orange...then we kind of gave up the watermelon idea and decided on a pumpkin!!

Both right, it's a cucurbit. Most likely a squash, but you just have to wait to find out. They all look similar.

I figure it's a pumpkin because my grandpa used to grow pumpkins.
He would batter and fry the flowers, saying they tasted just like mushrooms.

Looks like the yellow squash flowers I grew up seeing in my grandmother's garden. That's my final answer.
