A few weeks back, I posted a thread about trying to win a car in a photo contest - I guess an admin deleted it pretty quickly, but a few people had already stated their support. I could not ignore those votes in good conscience, so I'm here to show my appreciation, especially since we won the car!  The story was kinda long, but included the following photos (setup shot & submitted entry):  and  Well, our story has a happy ending, and our entire family is very grateful for the support we received! The pic below is of our old & new Saturn cars; the blue one on the left is the new one - we picked it up from the dealer last Friday!  Anyway, I just wanted to say 'thank you'. Even though the thread was deleted, TPF is a great place to find knowledge & friendship, and I'm grateful! Billy |

Congratulations! I am not sure why the original thread was deleted, I was glad to see it and glad to vote. I am really glad you won. Again, your pic was certainly the best. |

So its all done but the sales tax. Glad you won. Did the reflector or black backdrop enhance the shot? From the angle of the shot I don't see where it would have, but I'm not sure or if it was contributing to a different image. |
