I am very sad to see the fire of the Governor's Mansion...
and if it is arson...
very sorry to hear this.
But...at least almost all of the inside furnishings were removed and safe...
and no one was injured.

It's hard for me to understand the motivation for someone to target an historical old building, that has housed Dems and Repubs alike for 150 years. Just the history of the wood, the polished banisters, the worn carpets, you can feel the history in places like that. As was said, there are some sick people around, like when the Treaty Oak was targeted years ago. Attacking a building = what a coward.
