Has anyone seen Steve Jobs lately? He looks really thin. Has he been sick or was his weight loss voluntary?

It is stress. How else is he going to tell every Iphone user that their GSM phone will be obsolete when the new 3G Iphone is released. And your old phone isn't worth nuttin' honey! Ohhh, the pain... I have to admit though, he is one sly fox selling millions of Iphone to all those loyal apple users only to turn around a year later to release the ultimate 3G phone.

Now if they can jsut get access to Exchange servers for company emails the Iphone will rane King among phones. And all along we all thought Apple was a computer company. LOL they did a good job hidding that fact.

No different than the G5 workstations and then release Intel based and stop upgrading software for it. Gotta love having a $1000 piece of software that won't transfer to my new machine. I love it. NOT.

John you know that this new version does have Exchange support right ;)

as for Jobs' weight, someone on another forum I read was saying something about a surgery? don't know if there's truth to it...

I know Exchange is in development. Not sure when it will be release but it should work on
"ALL" Iphones once it is. That will make it a legitimate business device then. That's what Iphone needs...

Then someday my company may decide to allow us iPhones... For now, blackberry has us cornered.

I am crossing my fingers.. I don't mind buying the device myself, but I am not going to carry around 2 phones...so I need my company to support it. Stinks for now.

Welcome to the Apple side. They release faster, better, sweeter more often than you can keep up. Granted most of the time you don't really have to upgrade, but you know how it goes, you always want the latest and greatest. Apple will drive you nuts doing this.

Well I highly doubt the Iphone will ever reach the ranks of Blackberry in Business. The reason I say this is because it is RSA certified.. And very very secure...

Iphone 3G to go on Sale July 11th...

Wow, only $199, and with GSM? My friends with current Iphones are gonna be slightly perturbed.... but I expect no less from Apple. :P

I think all tech companies rush to market with all sorts of products. It's a shame that the market demands new and improved every quarter but it does. I gave up trying to stay up with all this tech stuff when I realilzed my closests couldn't hold all the old stuff and Ebay was killing me in their fees along with Paypal.

Although I don't have an iPhone, I am used to whatever I buy becoming "old" quickly if it's technology based. The life span of servers and PC's is less then 3 years now, phones, MP3 players and the such even shorter.

All about market penetration and licensing $ I am sure (ie, they get a kick back from ATT on the phones...Not on the touch).

most people I've seen comment are actually really excited and looking forward to the release.

Only Apple product I own is my iPhone and I bought mine a few months after the release (after the price drop) and I'll more than likely be picking up a new one in a couple of weeks. In this case I don't see a price drop coming anytime soon.

He had surgery back in '04 for pancreatic cancer but nothing recent. Nothing being circulated anyways...
