I'll go with faked! It takes a minute, maybe longer, for the first kernel to pop in a powerful microwave. Even if cell phone radiation could actually pop a kernel of corn it would not happen that fast! It is funny though.

I read an article where a physicist debunked it. Mentioned that the reason the popcorn pops is because the microwave (or other source of heat) causes the water molecules to heat up and eventually turn into gas. If the cell phones cold do that then surely the same thing would happen to our fingers causing us pain when we used our cell phones.

As Chuck said, if a kernel takes about a minute to pop in an enclosed microwave system how would it be possible to pop almost instantaneously with cell phones and yet do no harm severe, immediate harm to us when we use them?

Fake, made with After Effects.

Watch the popcorn pop, it looks like it is coming from inside the table.

... of course its faked.
it takes 2-3 minutes for pop corn at 1000 watts.
a cell phone is like .0001 watt.
just wanted to say who the real dd's are that have fried brains ... lol

It's busted!

My coworkers and I tested it. We had 4 to 6 cell phones.

Why worry about it anyhow.
We soon won't be able to afford to buy popcorn anyway...because all of the corn will be going into the production of ethanol, to power our cars!
