Tornado - 06-13-2008, 02:29 PM

Tornado has destroyed another town in Kansas. I actually lived in this town and went to highschool there. My family lives only few miles from where the tornado hit in another small community. The town of Chapman is shut down. They weren't letting ANYONE into the town. The media has been trying all different ways to get in. Yesterday evening they were letting residents in to get some personal things.

I also went to school at Kansas State were another tornado struck. The damages are estimated to be at 20 million to the Kansas State campus. Here is a link to some photos of the damage.

I used to live in upstate NY. I remember a town nearby where a tornado touched down. It destroyed all the houses down one side of the street, and the other side was not touched.
I moved to Fort Worth, and lo and behold, a tornado hit the city. It actually put a tree through my apartment window.

Weather can be very scary indeed. I think the weather patterns this year are really screwed up. I hope your family and friends recover from this disaster.

I hope no one was injured. That's just tragic. It seems like the weather's just been getting crazier and crazier.

Sorry to hear about the tragedy. Whats up with all the severe weather this year? Seems out of control lately.

I still wish I have a opportunity to take a picture of myself with a tornado in the background one day....
