I like to print my personal stuff. I typically just hang them around my workspace.

I started getting more printed. I have 2 11x14 portfolio books, an 8.5x11 book, and 4 4x6 books. I had several prints made on 16x20 when Adorama had a sale. I do like seeing them printed. They just look better on paper sometimes.

I print things as it suits me... and if they're print worthy.

Until I've printed it, it's not a photography. Nothing on a monitor can compare to a fine print and that goes double when it comes to a carbon based B&W ink prints. And nothing less that 8x10 or larger.

I wouldn't be able to afford to take photos if I had them printed. With 6 kids my budget for my hobbies and personal stuff is about $0 a month. I recently spent about $6 having some 8x10s printed to decorate my living room, and that was a big deal. When I do have money to spend on photography, I'd rather save it for the nifty fifty lens I've been wanting for a year and a half.

I print my personal stuff that I want to display - no different than before. I have about 30 or so hanging in my office (almost the same set hanging in our "den" at home).

Only thing that's different now is that all the snapshots my wife takes are just digital!

Digital just feels so temporary and not real. Printing makes it come to life and makes it seem more permanent. At least a quality print is harder to accidentally delete.

You must be selective. I print less than a half percent of what I shoot. Ansel Adams was happy with 15 good prints i a year...

I print my own 8x10s on an Epson R800. Sometimes I really wish I'd have gotten a larger printer and I haven't decided to get any large prints made. Someday I'll get the strength to order one. :) I have clear lucite frames/stands like you'd see on a business counter top with a flyer in it. There are about 8 or 10 in my home office and I make a print and switch it with an older one in the frame. That way I can keep them fresh.
