This made me laugh so hard...apparenty someone booted his car. Instead of paying to get them off he moved the car via dolly's into his garage....

I read that on another forum. The guy apparently has his HOA on his side, and the tow company is getting very vindictive.

I'm with you guys. I can't believe I just read that entire thread.

Very fun read, interesting and bound to have consequences reaching far beyond Arizona (been there, done that with HOA/Parking issues).

Ok, I drank the KoolAid too! Sounds like a tow company that got tired of getting sued and having to reimburse owners for illegal tows has come up with another way to fleece drivers. Very creative way to fight back. I look forward to seeing the conclusion.

I read the whole thing, and now I can't wait to hear how this turns out. In my mind, the police should have forced the issue the first time that they showed up on scene. When DollyMan, gave them the opportunity to get their wheel locks, the police should have told the tow company that they either get them now, or they become property of dollyman. Would have put a quick end to a long saga. I know how I would react. I would be like pool man, and I would have been attacking the parking nazi with a claw hammer, or monopod. It probably would have turned violent quick.

I read it all too; halfway thru it my wife came by and asked what I was reading, so she read the second half. It was like Casey Serin all over again. Looking forward to a conclusion.

I used to know a guy who worked for his dad's towing company in the summers. When they get a contract for an apartment complex or an area, they are usually given free reign to enforce the rules. They'll drive through every property every night (usually very late) to pick up any violators. I hate to say it, but his dad was a pretty shady character, and the fruit didn't fall too far from the tree.
